President speaks.....writes, rather

July 2004: "What place is this? Will I be ragged? I hate the sultry weather here. I'm homesick. I want to run away. The people here are so rude and unfriendly. I despise my life."

January 2005: "Ok, the place is not that bad but the people are. There's so much partiality out here. I don't want to be a part of this mess, because its not going to take me anywhere."

May 2005: "Why am I writing JEE again? What the heck, I don't have the courage to go through the throes again. I will make do with whatever I have, however little it may be."

July 2005: "Oh my God. My career has changed direction. The place is not that bad after all. I'm happy. The world seems bright."

February 2006: "I'm nowhere in extra-curriculars. Am I a dumb-witted book-worm? I need to get out, get going."

March 2006: "My feet are into too many boats. And they are all moving in different directions. Worse still, my pants are not tear-proof."

July 2006: "Politics is an interesting game. And I'll play it, for the heck of playing it."

August 2006: "I had put up posters two years ago. Now the posters carry my name."

December 2006: "Back to back successes, academic and extra-curricular. Dhoom-2 to top that, life is happy again."

March 2007: "I command authority. But I still take orders. The battle's only half won. But the trail is glittering."

April 2007: "When I had interviewed for entry, I was literally tormented and shredded to bits. Now I can do the same to hapless souls."

May 2007: "Corporate world is dirtily neat. And it brings out the best and the worst in you. Hot lava simmers in the air conditioned corridors and cubicles. My confidence is jaded, my self-respect is stripped of its raiment."

June 2007: "Life will never be the same after that teary night. Life will never be the same after that phone call. Life will never be the same with..."

July 2007: "Slam bang, Kick ass action. You miss, I hit. I smash your glass windows. And then I travel 1000 odd miles and smash some other windows. And days later, some more windows are smashed, though I'm not the culprit."

August 2007: "Politics is an interesting game, and I can't leave it. Lost the battle by a whisker, won the war by a scad. The sword is burnished. This looks like the pinnacle. But it ain't. There are other, higher peaks to conquer."

Moral of the story: "Don't look for a moral in every story. Be your own story."

nice expression ... an ultra novel way to mouth the sleddings ... too good bro ... you lived entire life in such a short span ( at least have learnt what to do and when to do ) ... the attitude should remain same because the problems generically remain same, its just the clothes and the faces that they change !
